Madina Hifz Institute Ramadaan Appeal Letter

At the outset we would like to wish you and your family, a Blessed Ramadaan Kareem.
Ramadaan is the month of Al Qur’an Al Kareem and we are pleased to announce the establishment of the Madina Hifz Institute in the heart of our community at 32 Khalfe Road ; Hatton Estate ; Cape Town. The Institute has been established on a strong legacy of Hifz ul Qur’an started by the Late Moulana Abubakr Husain Khatib Rahmatullahi alaihi; the long serving Imaam of the Jaami’ Masjid in Grey Street, Durban as far back as 1947. Many Huffaaz have benefitted and graduated at the hands of the esteemed Founder; the likes of Hafiz Soofie Paruk (became Haafiz in 8 months); Hafiz Moosa Ismail; Hafiz Ahmad Saeed; Hafiz Yusuf Haffejee; Hafiz Dawood Makada ; Hafiz Dawood Limalya; Hafiz Imaam; Hafiz Abulhasan Khatib; Hafiz Tootla; Hafiz A Jabbar; Hafiz MS Moolla ; Hafiz Siddique Moinuddeen and many others who then became teachers of Qur’an to 1000’s of Huffaaz around the Country.
The Institute is open to full and part time male and female students from 8 am to 6 pm (Monday to Friday). The facility also boasts an Astroturf Soccer Ground for the benefit of the students during their recreation break time. The principal of the Institute; Shaykh Fuad Isaacs (Imaam of Masjidul Quds) ably assisted by Ustadh Muhammad Noor teaches the students Hifz ul Quran including Tajweed and Fiqh and for recreation, Soccer and Karate. A weekly Khatum al Quran is held at the Institute for the benefit of all Marhoomeens and the Ummah at Large. In addition to the excellent and Saheeh recitation of the Holy Quran taught to the students; the important feature is that no fees are charged to the students. However due to the overwhelming demand we need to expand by extending the building and ablution facilities immediately after Ramadaan. Your assistance is appreciated.
This Ramadaan the Institute is hosting Shaykh Mahmoud Muhammad Abdul Wahab Tantawi and Shaykh Ahmad Fargallah al Shazili as leading Qurraah from Egypt to inspire and teach the students for the entire month of Ramadaan InshaAllah. Should you wish to support this initiative by sending your children to study the Holy Qur’an please do so without any hesitation and we will try our best to facilitate the establishment of Qur’an reading in your home through the extensive grooming and teaching of your children through the Love of the Holy Qur’an and Tarbiya.
