Shaykh Dr. Muhammad bin Yahya Al-Husayni An-Ninowy
Shaykh Dr. Muhammad bin Yahya Al-Husayni An-Ninowy descends from a Syrian Scholarly family whose lineage goes back to Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi wa Aalihi wa Sallam) through Imam Husayn (Radiya Allahu Anhu).
His education began under the tutelage of his honourable father Shaykh Yahya (Rahimahumullahu Ta’ala), under whom he started memorising the Qur’an and acquiring knowledge of the Islamic disciplines including Aqeedah, Fiqh, Hadith and Ihsan.
Shaykh Muhammad went on to study at Al-Azhar University at the Faculty of Usul-u-Deen, specialising in Hadeeth. Shaykh Muhammad has been under the tutelage of many of the foremost scholars who reside in Syria, Madinah, Makkah, Tangiers, Fez, Rabat, Egypt, Sudan and Bilād al-Shām; and was authorized (received ijāzah) from renowned scholars such as …. Al-Imām Al- Hafith As-Sayyed Abdullah bin As-Siddiq Ghumari, Shaykh Hasan Qaribullah as-Sudani, Shaykh Abdullah Al-Husayni, Shaykh Muhammad Al-Bata’ihi, Shaykh Jamil Ar-Rifa’i, Sayyed Al- Habib Al-Attas Hadramouti, Shaykh Abdullah At-Talidi, and Muhaddith Al-Haramayn ‘Ālim-ul-Hijāz Sayyed Dr Muhammad ‘Alawi Al-Maliki.
Shaykh Muhammad also holds a Doctor of Medicine degree and a Bachelors degree in Microbiology from the USA.
Shaykh Muhammad is keen to revive the Prophetic message of Love, Mercy, Moderation, Tolerance and Sincere Care of Humanity through education with a “Back to Basics” methodology.
Shaykh Ninowy will direct, supervise and personally lecture key components of the Madinah Institute’s Usūl-ud-Dīn program.
